Site is lately slow or even unreachable past couple days

I get "access denied" error for my country from the website's firewall when I try to login or post something.

I can only post by using a vpn... will it be fixed?

Not likely... you'll need to continue to use the VPN. If you are receiving an access denied block it means there is a high volume of unproductive traffic that is being blocked from your location. The firewall is proactive though, if the unproductive traffic drops off, the block will be removed.

my posts show up in the thread then disappear the moment you navigate away from the page. i dunno if this one will even be here after i post.

also my login is ok in the sub forums but shows up as other members or as logged out on any of the main pages.

Not sure I understand the second part of this... the first part should be fixed now unless you are receiving an error msg that I'm not receiving.

i'm surprised the last post showed up. about half or more fail right now. this one may be a bit of a test.

in the sub forums my username shows up correct. on main pages it shows logged out or as another member. today i was bmwgo for a while on the main pages. yesterday i was someone else. if i navigate to a subforum it shows up as my username 82eye.

edit: i'm showing as 82eye again on the main pages, or as logged out. shows me logged in correct in the subs.

more edit: now i'm logged in permanent on the main page and can't logout. i'm logged out in the subs and can't login there. i posted this edit by replying to myself and logging in at the prompt. if i navigate away i will be logged out. when i am logged out i won't see this post or any of the edits.

logout at the top right hand corner. i logged in by replying here. as soon as i navigate away it will logout. i can login multiple times in any forum, sub forum, or thread, i get the login thanks prompt and then immediately logs out.

i can't start a thread or post. i can only post if i reply with a quote. i don't know if this will show up as about half fail.

yesterday i could not login at all.

i can login on individual threads now. not on sub forums or the main pages. it will not logout of the thread until it times out. i can't manually logout. i can't login to any other threads reply, or post, until it times out in the thread i reply to, at which point i can login on another thread, but nowhere else.

i'm just gonna reduce my time here until things seem better. it's not like i'm a huge contributor, i'll just try to stick to 2 or 3 subforums for a while. i can still browse.

when you couldn't login did you get an error of some sort or what is just looping you back to the page as if you were not logged in?

no error, just leaves me at return to previous page/return to forum prompt. if i chose to return to the page i will still be logged in there but nowhere else. if i return to forum i will remain logged out and can't login.

i can reply to any post by logging in at the login prompt when replying with a quote. it will not logout of the thread until it times out.

its at the point where its not worth your time to chase issues on one weird account.

Still working on it though... because it is not the first time we have had something weird happen and it likely won't be the last.

They made some tweaking to the rules for logging in... let me know if that helps.
