Im just oust looking for a 10 second car to keep up with the jones around here. Butters is killing seconds every run so I got a lot of work ahead of me.

I'd be more worried with whatever Phil has up his sleeve. He has been quiet lately . once he gets the proper tires on there and doesn't have to worry about his diff I think he will be ripping some very impressive #s

Is he still going to run the 35r ?

I think once I get the built motor running ~ 25psi (as long as the tune has room) and get the technique of launching without breaking parts this thing should put down some great passes.

It should be an interesting year.

I know of a human selling 2.93 7 series diff with CES upgraded rear sub, dss axles, and dss drab shabbie. I was thinking about swapping all of this over to my 1989 Chevy Caprice .

The track car is now in the garage ready for dismantling :-) I'd like to have the motor pulled in the next week. Looking to take the drive shaft out and have all the mounts unbolted by the weekend. Then wiring harness should be fairly easy.

I hope the car will be fast but the driver definitely needs some practice. I'm looking forward to go out and have fun with the NHFI CLUB and the racers of NED.

Since I have been busy and not able to see this, soon to be 9 second car. Do we get pictures ?

No not yet, lol.
The motor just needs the shifter linkage, ac lines, driveshaft (by guibo), coolant drain and then It will be ready for removal.

Picked up an engine crane with equalizer that is being delivered tuesday night so the motor should be out in a few days.

Car should do a 10 second pass, but the driver is in need of experience so i going to say 14 seconds,

Tuning will be :
RK Tuning 80lb blow thru/ VP ms109
Looking for 800-850 rwhp.

My first pass this year was a 13.1 , I have done no power mods this year. 800wheel is a 9 second e36.
