Did a search to no avail. If anyone has pictures, pls post. Got bored and ran out of things to do to the car.

Interesting thought. I don't believe I have ever seen a Z3 with stripes up the hood and down the trunk. I generally like that look and wold love to see a photo shop.

Black stripes off center like the tii concept could look great on yellow.
Stripes=Throw up in my mouth. Don't do it.
This car is too curvy for straight lines, IMHO.
I like the unicorns.

Saw it on a guys Z3 roadster about 6 months ago. I can't remember the color right at this moment. I am thinking maybe it was white with black stripes?
It looked utterly FANTASTIC. He said that there was a pic of his vehicle hanging up at Homecoming a couple of years ago.
I would seriously consider doing black on my Arctic Silver from front to back (centered - hood - top - trunk) if I didn't think that I would eventually sell it (only to buy another Z3 with lower mileage) and the stripes could impact the sale.
It looked HOT, and typically I don't like anything add ons to cars.

The answer to stripes may be just a few posts away.... Check out the "WTF" post.

You should wrap the stripes the other way, then you'd really be a bumble bee.

Quit wondering, it's not exactly a hard thing to Photoshop
I would not do it to my car, but the Roady has a similar shape and proportion to the Cobra. It sure does look good in blue with white stripes, so of the very few cars that could pull it off, the Roady MIGHT be one of them.

Lol...good one bro.
Funny you say that since at least 2 people this week made a comment about it being a german Cobra. So yeah, classic colors...blue with white and yellow with black, right? Was considering one similar to the blue one up above with grey/silver stripes but wouldn't exactly go with the black top.

I have someone that could do it for you in top quality vinyl in Hayward if your interested. It would save a whole bunch of money and you can take them off if you don't like it!
After you photoshop it, do it in vinyl if you like it. It's pretty cheap, and easy to remove if you decide you don't like it after all.
This
thick/thin euro racing stripes are the way to go!
It's just vinyl; if you don't like it, rip it off

How about doing the motorsport flag on it..
Sold
I think it could work, thought I'm not a fan myself. As was stated, the Z does have very classic lines. Go with vinyl, completely and easily reversible.
Thanks. Can you pm me his contact info?
Something like this maybe?
