BMW i8 Crowned the 2012 Concept Vehicle of the Year

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – July 12, 2012 2:00pm EDT… BMW takes the 2012 Concept Car of the Year Award with its i8 Concept Spyder. This award marks BMW’s fourth competition as a category finalist and the brand’s second visit to the awards podium at the eleventh annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards announced today. The Concept Car category recognizes those vehicles where passenger carrying is the primary intent.

How to photograph your car… with Bryan O’Neil Hughes

Bryan O’Neil Hughes is a photographer, a car buff, and the senior product manager for Photoshop. In Photo Workshop: Car Photography Tips, these passions combine at a workshop hosted by lynda.com and Adobe Systems.

In the first portion of the course, Bryan photographs a carefully lit Mercedes SLS AMG and shares tips for photographing cars. He shows how to evaluate the lines of the vehicle and compose shots for the greatest dramatic effect.
