Those are some nasty dirty seats. Note the lack of floor mats with a beige interior. Always a good decision....

I can also vouch for how nice e6Xs drive. On average they're newer, and the light metal bits make them excellent handlers. A flappy paddle, 500hp, 8000rpm redline, V10 sTaTion VaGONE?!?

Love the plate, made me laugh cuz it fits perfectly...nice looking wagon color looks immaculate...my handle was almost my plate on my 2003 540iT, changed it to RAREWAG at the last minute...I get some flack on the moo interior, what was a WTF first impression on interior turned into I really do love it...those that dont get it, I don't care...looking for another 540iT but I keep coming across other cars on my list...like these two...had MKII Jag, always wanted another...like 1800S but not top of list...going to refinish E61 wheels in silver color like on M5, (softer silver color), and change to shadowline trim///

Definitely cool. My friends mom had one. I remember riding in it heading to the public pool when I was a kid, in the back on the rear facing seat. Crawled in through the drop glass if I remember right. I had a 67 Chevelle Malibu with the similar 3 point front end. 67 front end is my fav Chevelle.

E61s are great, lot's to love if you want a fast, comfortable, and functional daily. With proper tuning you can make it RS6 Avant fast. It's a lot of car for the money and now with prices being in low teens for clean examples they are even more compelling. Just make sure to stay up on preventive maintenance.

I asked if mileage or reserve were factors. Their response was:

Much of this is nonsense as BAT was of no help when I was once scammed and when an auction winner never rendered payment.

Today, a 1999 540i/6 was posted with 118,000 miles. My best guess is that the "reviewer" didn't realize this was an auto only car or that it was somewhat rare.

My push back was listing several much more valuable cars, citing my frequent patronage of their services as a buyer and a seller, and telling them that they get all of what I have or none of it. We'll see if it works.

Wagons always on my list, orange 1800ES JoshS sold / exact car I wanted not long ago. Finding my "moooo" interior E61 with a lot of stuff addressed couldnt pass it up...findng E61s with low miles is difficult, 2010 M prices bring more $$$ & even fewer to be found...still want another 540iT someday, but I really have fallen in love with the way this E61 handles, performance for a heavy wagon is surprising and you dont see these cars often on the road...with all the flack they get on the maintance issues (keep on top of that), damn its a true sleeper and well underrated...
