Just testing the waters as we are considering a move from the burbs into the city, which won't make having a 3rd car easy, so I'm looking for some help on how to price my Z4 in the event I want sell it.
Here are the vitals:
- 2004 BMW Z4, 3.0 liter
- 33,XXX original miles / second owner
- 6 speed
- Spent 9 nears in Texas, 4 in Michigan. Has never seen snow, in fact has seen very little rain
- Steering rack replaced by BMW in 2015 (no sticky steering!)
- With the exception of a couple of small scratches the body is perfect
- A couple wheels have minor curbing
- The interior is free of cracks, rips and tears and shows only minimal wear
- Hancook tires new in '14, but probably only have 8K on them
- No mods, original everything including owner's manual and service history
So what's it worth? Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone interested if I decide to sell it?
I would reference KBB, it seems to be the standard for pricing based on condition.

Car sounds lovely and personally speaking, you need to drive it more...
With those miles and condition you state, I would guess $12k-14k, maybe close to $15k if you find the right buyer.
As I have mentioned in past posts about low mileage values cars, posting the car up on 'Bring a Trailer' might be an option for you.
Too bad this wasn't for sale last October. It would be in my garage right now.
I purchased my 2008 335i 6 speed, sport suspension convertible with 59,000 for $14,000 last October.
I was looking to get a Z4 before I found the 335i. I was looking in that price range with the options yours has.
Look! Before our very eyes, the future is becoming the past.
I purchased my 2003 Z4 3.0 in Jan/Feb for $11,000. It had 30k miles on it. I would say it perhaps wasn't in as pristine condition as you. Few touch up spots on the paint, the drivers seat leather is cracking where you get in and out. Other than that it has been a dream.
