TB inlet diameter

Can anyone tell me what the size of the outside diameter is on the TB for an E36 with the 2.5 six? Say I want to remove the airbox and put something else on there, what would be the inside diameter of a coupler that would fit over the TB inlet? Thanks

Measuring the boot I’m getting roughly 73 to 75 mm

I don't have the car with me, otherwise I'd remove the airbox and figure it out for myself. So I found this picture, and the yellow arrow is pointing to the diameter I'm interested in. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply, appreciate it. I realized after I posted it that I should've been looking at the engine, or at least a picture of it. The MAF inlet was what I was trying to ask about, and I know the TB is something different. In any case, thanks again for the info, I have what I need now!
