SLS delete is here, you can reuse springs but they will be a bit low.

Thanks....and yes low transmission would make it act up. The link to the trans filter didnt open.

If I reuse the strut, do I still have to remove them off the car first?

Springs only, and yes. You have to change the mounts and support equipment as well. On the bottom right there's an option to proceed to the site.

    Go Bilstein for the shocks.

So I can reuse the springs only? Not the Struts and Shocks?

I like when the car sit low.

You can reuse the struts provided they aren't blown. In that case just delete the SLS equipment and loop the line back.

    Update:
Did a quick test last night and I am getting SES Codes P1270 and P1456.
I know P1456 is from the missing e-cats. I looked up p1270 and I read MAF.

I would recommend not re using the struts as without the hydraulic fluid, they become ridiculously hard and your ride quality will suffer greatly.

Absolutely. But his SLS is probably non-functional at this point.

I'd replace all of the struts when the car is fully functional.

Take the MAFs off a Z3 4 cylinder or the silver car.

Correct, the SLS is not functional at this point as the unit at the back is all rotted. Fluid not running through it.

Any recommendations on full struts, shocks, spring replacement at reasonable price? maybe one that will set the car lil lower.

You can use the old springs to get it to sit low. B4s are Bilstein Touring.

Plus the mounts as shown in the guide.

Are those mounts for all 4? I believe the SLS delete in this
thread only use it on the rear.

Unfortunately I will also need rear and front springs as those installed are broken and old.
Any recommendation on a good set that will set the car a lil lower?

740 equipment is what you'll be using.

    740 strut mounts, 740 struts, 740 springs.

    Update:

So went to the junkyard today for the exhaust system of a 1997 750 but unfortunately the cats were removed. So I end up getting 2 straight pipe and weld.
Sounds like a car now. However black smoke coming from the exhaust. Is that normal? Hope the engine is not burning coolant.
I let the engine run for a while, and not overheating so far.

Now that I have pipes installed I will check the transmission fluid level. the car seem to hesitate at time before moving. Whats the best way to check fluid on these trans?

    Here are some pictures.

Pump until it starts dripping. Smoke might just be accumulation in the exhaust and it doesn't look particularly black, the V12 is basically a smog machine when cold, especially one without a cat. Worst case it's the tiny OSV dumping oil into your intake.

Ignore the bit about Lifeguard fluid, just use Valvoline MaxLife.

For those who have deleted their Cats, did you get the white smoke as seen on the picture above?
I did see that much smoke caming out before installing the pipes. I did let the car run for couple minutes but the smoke didnt clear up.
