I like this idea, I think itll be the easiest to simply remove the wastegate. I can deal with loud. I would rather not have to remove/install the turbo once I drop the engine in if possible. No issues with just removing the wastegate?

Thanks for all the advice guys

Noise and risk of exhaust into cabin. Getting it under car would be better. Will sound like dump truck with no exhaust.

I think im going to make my wastegate lines out of 1/4" hard brake line w/ compression fittings at wastegate and charge pipe. Sound good to all?

Yeah he had hard lines and some coupler thingy that the hard lines fit into I didnt quite follow. I think a 1/8 npt -> 1/4" compression fitting at the WG and tapped into the charge pipe will work well.

Route them properly and no issues. Put them in DEI sleeves or tubes if concerned. Turbo since 2010, rubber WG and boost controller lines, no protective covering. No issues.

Overboost, no compressor reference to wastegate. Right in the beginning of the game too.

SXE is the billet compressor wheel latest badassness. The S256SX is still a great turbo at an insanely good price.

What is a turbo with great spool (500 lbs rwtq by 4000 rpm) and that will make 650 rwhp at 25 psi on 93 pump plus meth on a 9.0:1 S52?

    35r

Sx256 has a 35r sized turbine wheel. It should flow well.

Two other members are running them we should ask them.

Someone check out this compressor map of a s256 over a 35r compressor map. Pretty impressive IMO. https://www.google.com/search?q=borg...UMpUWLUmz8U%3D

My goal is a quick spooling and reliable 400-450whp set up. I was never going to feel right about having that "mystery" turbo , and this BW should give me peace of mind, hella quick spool, and enough power to meet my goals. Hope I made the right choice
