Installed and running a obd1 swapped S52 in a e34 touring. Took all of 20 minutes with a friend and runs much smoother at idle and under load then the red top 413 with a chip. Awaiting dyno time.

Mines been out having fun for a bit over a week. This computer is amazing, the only complaint is that for a novice there are just far too many things you can mess up hahaha. Not their fault though.

if you dont know what a setting does, dont touch it.

As you gain more experience, they will start to make more sense.

And then ull wake up in the middle of the night with ideas of things to try. Thats when it gets real fun.

I have had that aha moment a few times already haha. I'm still legit proud of how damn well mine runs considering I have done everything myself so far.

It was honestly worth it to do the OBD1 conversion for this ECU. Since I was deleting all of the emissions and factory narrow band O2's I didn't want the plugs laying around. There's a lot less wire deleting on an OBD1 harness.

We haven't forgotten about the OBD2 cars - but we have had a big spike in order volume and are having to add some more production capacity before we start adding more MSPNP models. Sorry about the delay. We've already added one more electronics assembly technician compared to where we were at this time last year, and are in the process of adding some automation equipment too.

4000 miles on this PNP kit and I still love it, it gets better every week as I learn more and more but even so it's so close to perfect right now. Anyone that's waiting for the OBD2 one, if you really just want to get things rolling the OBD1 conversion is worth it and the simple wiring harness is a plus IMO.

First - we have been cleaning up the shop for a scratch and dent sale. This includes the MSPNP that was used on our test car. It's a production ECU that has been run for a while and has some scratches, but will ship with all components we'd include with a new unit. As it's used, it is 20% off and carries a 30 day warranty. Email me at matt@diyautotune.com if you want this one.

If somebody wants a beater 4 door 325 with a title the previous owner didn't fill out properly, the test car itself is for sale too.

Second, there's no news that directly touches on the OBD2 unit right now, but we have taken care of a couple things that needed to happen before we could get to work on it:

    • One out of four PNP ECUs that we wanted to clear off the to-do list has been released (Buick Regal Turbo, in case you were wondering), and two more have been cleared for production but not yet built.
    • Our production department now has a wave-soldering line that they're using to get caught up on back orders. We need to make sure our production department has the capacity to build enough of these things to meet demand. On a related note... anybody in north Georgia looking for an electronics assembly job?

Been looking at the MS3 Pro's for some time and happy you guys are looking into a PNP model. I have just ordered the needed to retune the current ECU but would definitely like one of these kits for my end goal!

They've literally been selling as fast as we can make them lately - we're trying to add some new production capability to stay caught up. Right now there's a 2 week lead time for ECUs that are not in stock.

I should be receiving mine soon. I'm currently running a tec3r running off the 15 tooth, Is there a way to change in the ms3pro to run off the 15 tooth? or just rotate the wheel back to stock TDC and be done
