These look great, for the longest time I was a fan of the dual but I think a single looks great too.

I was too. But after I got the single 3" exhaust with the 4" tip I changed my view. I think with the right tip, 4" is the perfect size imo, single looks great.

I've always found it difficult to like single tip exhausts on the e36, idk why.

this is false, I run a nv head with vanos added on my drag car. Makes plenty of power with no drop off in sight

going to need another fuel pump or a boost-a-pump. Big Wally won't get you all the way to 800whp.

Edit2: car looks great!![/QUOTE] a walbro 450 rewired with a relay to the battery maxed out at 855 on race gas but I would imagine on e85 you're gonna need 2 of them!

I really need to re wire mines.

2 questions, does anyone have an idea how much rewording helps? Maybe a percent value or something

    2. What do you guys do about the tiny wires from the stock fuel pump hanger to the actual pump? I drilled a hole on the top of my hanger and ran 12awg wires through, but every now and again I have to reseal the top because it will start leaking fuel

I pulled the 2 pins out of the stock fuel pump hanger where the OE connector went and pulled the two wires through there. Perfect fit for 12 gauge wire.

Yeah fit the wires that came with the walbro harness perfectly. Was so tight I had to put a bit of lube on the wires to get them through(hehehehehthatswhatshesaid)

I didn't use any sealant or anything and so far no leaks or anything..

Looks like I have a new little project! I just spliced a 12g wire into the factory connector which I'm now questioning heavily!

Not stock wiring just using the stock connector for the fuel pump with 12 gauge wiring

this is what i did. I also soldered better wiring underneath. These pins are big enough.

I used stranded pure copper 10awg though.

And it helps a lot... 14v vs I dont know 12v or something..

Exactly what I did so I feel a little better! Lol. I measured voltage at the connector on stock wiring and it was 11.9x volts @ 4k rpm and just to be sure it wasn't a faulty alt I checked the output and it was right at 14.2 ish volts

Just cause it makes plenty of power doesn't mean it makes as much as it could. Not saying you're wrong cause I've heard this vanos vs non-vanos head quite a lot and no one has ever tested the two back to back with dyno and datalogs to back it up, but I wouldn't say that it's false either

It already makes more power than it should! I think that being a boosted motor, 6mm valve stems vs 7mm valve stems wouldn't make much of a difference but I'd like to see some comparisons of anyone here has done so
