As always let me thank Marco for a great setup, and great service...Thanks!
Well just back from the dragstrip. Very happy with the results!
My car is STRICTLY setup for autoX, so I wasn't expecting great results. I ran my street tires, and didn't play with any pressures. I just ran the car like I would drive it on the street.
Running the Pro_Solo autoX series has helped with RT, and 60' times...
I have....
AA stage 2 C38
Schrick cams
M50 intake
underdrive pullies
Scorpion Exhaust
Custom 3.46 diff
etc. etc. etc....
Well....(my car is the left side.. lol!)
That is actually a really fast trap speed for a CF setup. Well done!
Steve
Nice numbers - good job on the 60ft, especially with street tires!
Gives me something to strive for.
I have to ask, what was in the right lane?

Speaking of quick lil shoes...
Wow, nice numbers!
Another nail in the twin screw coffin it seems...
Have you been Screwed?
Dreamer?
A kit that costs several K less than what the TS kits originally sold for, that has better trap speed than anyone has yet posted with a TS kit?
Now with the current/future prices of the TS setups, the price differential is overwhelmingly overwhelming.
I think I was a dreamer once upon a time. Now I am a bit more focused in reality...
Have you been Screwed?
How many TS users have spent much time at the drag strip?
Future TS kits will have more power than most turbo "kits".
As a creator of one of the TS kits
I think you know better
and are being modest.
Price advantage aside, didn't you run 12.3 110+ at one time?

I have not seen any light, turbo or otherwise.
And you can talk about "future" TS kits and their capabilities all you want, but I will bet that very few will end up being sold, certainly if the kits are for E36, and even E46 non-M cars, especially at a price point higher than 10k.
And yes Chisau, I ran a 12.388 at 113.37mph on my first pass ever with the TS on my sedan.
Never bested that trap speed, and bested the ET once at 12.317 (still can't dig up the time slip on that one). Both runs were done with drag tires.
The point I am attempting to make here, and apparently failing, is that although I continue to feel that the Twin Screw is certainly a superior engineering solution, that as time goes on I also continue to realize that it was not/is not a superior "product" solution.
There is far more to a successful product than good engineering...
