    328is m on spray?

Hey guys I just bought a 1999 328is m. I think.... And I have a nitrous kit off my cobra before I got rid of it. My question is what can my motor handle. Will it need better pumps to handle a 100 shot?

What's the general hp limit of the stock components. It's an auto tranny btw.

Also can someone point me in a direction to start buying aftermarket parts. I can't find a good reliable source.

Also where do I get a tune?! I have no clue on the BMW scene.

My old car was a 2004 cobra with 481rwhp on motor and 652rwhp on the shot so this is a huge change for me!

Going more than 75-100 wet shot is pushing it. You can get lots more info if you search.

I disagree - you can inject enough nitrous to match turbocharger outputs on stock motors if you want. So, you could spray 300 - 350 on an M52, easily.

The problem is tuning it and distribution.

I don't disagree, but considering the OP has an AT I would not recommend it.

Very few people here run NOS. The auto tranny won't hold a lot more torque, but maybe with a progressive controller, you could gradually feed in a 75 wet shot. Do a manual tranny swap with heavy duty clutch, and you can run much more though I would still bring it in progressively.

Ok I will probably just hold off on the spray and just lsx swap it down the road.

It's a 328is but it has m's all over it what does that mean?

Nothing. It's like someone putting Cobra and Saleen stickers all over a stock Mustang

Agreed, but let's assume that spending a few thousand is out of scope.

I ran a 55 shot for a long time, and it worked out wonderfully. Doing it on an auto would cause some issues. I recommend taking an angle grinder to the transmission.

The previous owner always wanted an m but could not afford it. Lack of mechanical know-how to make it faster than an m, along with extra time on his hands caused him to re-badge it as an m (likely in desperate attempt to get hp or gf).

    Solution: angle grinder.

I has ms on places that people wouldn't switch. The steering wheel? With the multi colored stitching. I thought I read somewhere about a m "technic" on some of the cars?
