Got both a stock ZHP lever and a garagistic lever. I'm still using the rogue selector joint bushing I'm assuming its oversized. My DSSR has a 20mm side labeled for the selector joint and a 22mm side labeled for the shifter. I had been using it reversed because the rogue lever was close to 20mm and the selector joint was 22mm. Now I need both ends to be 22mm so that I can use the rogue selector joint already on the car + the garagsitic lever with delrin washers/shims as intended. Many very careful passes with a hand file and finger sander + finishing with some scotchbright and I have it dialed in so the shifter joint has zero slop when the shoulder bolt is finger tight. I believe that is that last shifter related hurdle and I can get everything installed this weekend.Shifters.jpgShifterandDSSR_dimenions.jpgDimenionsFixed'.jpg

This is continuing to be a pain in the ass. Garagastic shift lever installed. DSSR is fouling on the guibo still. I have the pivot ball as close to the bottom of the shift lever as I can get it before the shift lever bottom starts to bind up on the pivot ball bushing and prevent throw into 6th gear.

I have done two aggressive passes grinding the DSSR. I think I can make it work with a third pass. It's so close right now but I'm also unsure how much clearance I should shoot for. Drivetrain movement is going to tweak all the angles a little bit. I'm also considering making a jig for a razor blade to shave small chamfers into the offending edges of the guibo. Also im usure exactly how much clerance I should be looking for because the engine is going to move a little.

Long term once i have the geometry worked out I'm going to need to have some stiffer/better designed parts machined. At least a DSSR and ideally a new shift lever or shift lever bottom.

Video of the current clearance situation:

Your trans mounts look a little tall, but I can't tell if it's just the perspective.

I actually have the bottom of my lever sitting above the giubo in 2/4/6, but yours looks like it doesn't move that far forward.

It's interesting to me how different each of these turns out, but then again, everyone seems to have a slightly different parts list.

Interesting. I ground the DSSR enough to work for me for now but its messy and I would like a shorter shift throw. First pass at mocking up a custom DSSR for the the clearance I have in the car. I'm 3d printing a test version before I make a more polished final drawing and get it machined from stainless. This should allow a substantially shorter shift throw. The middle location on the 3 shifter layout pins is already a longer distance than a stock e46 gs6 lever.

The trans mounts I'm using are the ones rogue shipped to me with the E36 lever im no longer using. I think they are the same height as the others I have.

Design reworked slightly to make 3d printing cheaper. DMLS stainless is so cheap now
