There is a wire (harness) that goes to the driver door lock that warms the lock. It is activated when you lift the handle and if lock is "frozen", it will warm it and allow you to unlock and open the door. The connector is white. What is the part number?

There is no part number for that, it comes with the handle.
If all else works, unplug it and disable the feature.

1995 E31 and up do not have door lock heating. Are you trying to retrofit it? It won't work without recoding.
It is unknown why BMW dropped door lock heating on 01/1995 but it is remarkable it goes together with the introduction of EWS II (in fact the order options for the lock heating coding explicitly link it to EWS). With EWS II the keys have a built-in transponder chip that is powered via induction from a coil around the ignition lock barrel. The door lock heating is a coil as well - only single-turn, but with a very high current. Maybe it was thought the electromagnetic field from the door lock heating could damage the transponder chip in the key? Just keep this in mind if you want to retrofit the door lock heating.
