Hard to tell if 31331091535 or 31331096129 are the correct springs. The realoem diagrams don’t show them with a part number. Could try contacting the dealer and see which would be part of S704 sport package.

I don't know if this helps, but here's what my old Hunter WinAlign shows under adjustment procedures:

31331096129 certainly seems to match that description.

Go with 31331096129 for the front spring on the 2001 740i

is there any truth to the claim that only the front springs changed for sport? i.e. the rears are standard across both base & sport options?
