01 740i driver door won't lock or unlock by remote.

Hi all, I have a 2001 740i and it was nothing but problems since I bought it but I just love it for some reason, I've been dealing with this door lock system nightmare so first it was the passenger side door that was not responding to the key and the button in the center and it turned it's the module that is behind the door panel I swapped it and it worked but for the driver side I couldn't figure it out. first thing I did was changing the actuator and that didn't do anything so I replaced the whole latch assembly and same thing no power at all. I can use the key to lock and unlock manually. I swapper the GM module just in case since it has a fault for the driver door but no luck. I did the key initialization thing too. it seems that there's no power to the driver door. I tracked the wiring and didn't see anything unusual. rear doors are fine. not sure if this is enough for someone to understand my issue and help if possible but please excuse my English its not the best. any input or advice will be great.

Did you do a continuity check? That wiring harness routes through the door jam - and under the dash .. frequent mistreatment when pulling the door panel off / on - can often times lead to the wiring harness bundle getting damaged .. often times scrapping away some of the insulation around the wires in the harness that are susceptible to shorting against the door frame … but then - it could be something much simpler .. just saying …
