    Tie rods recommendation

I recently saw that both outer tie rods end ball joint rubber boots are torn and thought I will replace the outer tie rods only. After doing some research it looks like it is recommended to replace the inners as well… Is there a brand we like best for tie rods? I saw meyle and lemfoerder and was going to grab one of those…
I am also going to get the M3/Z3M locking plates 32111140464 as bimmerworld says you can put those in on non-M Z3. Any other upgrades related to the tie-rods I should consider? My car is 97 Z3 2.8.
As always, thanks for all your help!

I installed Meyle HD tie rods and control arms. Still going strong after 50K miles.
