Gear selector reset with INPA?
Long time coming, but after many years the engine is rebuilt and the low mileage trans and rebuilt TC are in the car, finished a few months back but haven't had time to dig into it till today.
I have my gear selector physically working, N is in the right spot D is in the right spot. BUT in the cluster they don't align, P, R, N don't light up, D does light up when its in D and so do the lower gearing.
I reset adaptation values with INPA, but it's not giving me the gearbox selector access. Has anyone done this before? This is the same TCU and Trans the car had prior to me pulling the engine a few years back. Communication is great, everything seems to work, but I am getting two different errors when I try to drive down the street, Trans Fail Safe happens about 300ft from my garage. I believe the codes are shifter related
8 AGS
64 AGS
If someone could point me in the right direction, maybe instrument cluster related coding is needed? Same cluster that worked with the same TCU and Trans. only the TC is new.
Thanks
