The votes of confidence go a long way
I've had a busy spring/start to summer but I'm expecting the car to be done soon, and will be genuinely ecstatic to pick it up (besides the hefty final bill). I've been going through old photos as well, and realized I never posted these 2019 shots of getting this car home for the first time - just the one on the drive home and I guess getting smogged. They really capture the Germanic r1ced out vibe from a previous owner (not THE previous owner, mind).
This is a good reminder of how far the car has come, particularly taken in context of my overall E34 journey (including the white M5 and Heidi). I guess I've notched 11 loyal years as an E34 fanboi, which is not bad considering I bought the white M5 as a flier when I couldn't find the right E36 M3 sedan at the time!
Speaking of old photos and nostalgia...I might have to dig up and post some white M5 photos. I miss that car's vibe quite a bit.
