Well after 10 days of being on order FCP euro just emailed me saying they can't get the throwout bearing. Anyone have a backup idea for this part? Mine was technically working fine but when I removed the trans I found it sounded like Christmas bells.

My local BMW dealer parts desk told me there are 900 21512227420's in Germany and they can get one. Hope that is not BS. Checking back with FCP why they can't get me one from Germany...

Let us know if you are able to get one from the dealer, I also see now most retailers have it listed as backorder.... at $400 ouch

FCP went back and double checked, they insist they cannot get it. I just got off the phone with the local BMW parts desk and he assured me they can get me one. He said he put in a test order for it this morning to try it and it didn't kick back. Still not holding my breath though. Cross your fingers for me!!

FCP is full of crap .... BMW has a bunch of these, in Germany.
