I have a 2024 X3 and I've had 3 cracked windshields. I've heard slight impacts with no immediate signs of a crack but all three have started to show within a few hours to a few days. They all start behind the mirror and run straight down to the base of the windshield. The service manager at the dealership says he has not heard of any defects which you would expect.
Anyone else had this problem?

That definitely sounds frustrating. I’ve seen a few people mention similar cracks starting behind the mirror, so you’re not alone. Could be stress from the mounting area or maybe the glass is just more fragile than usual. Might be worth checking if there’s a TSB or asking a glass specialist for a second opinion.
Might be time to have the aperature checked the next time the glass is out-
either there's a sharp point that's starting a crack, or the curvature's
mis- shaped enough that it's stressing the new glass to almost the point of cracking.
Saab 900's used to do that- they had retaining clips on the bottom, and over time, the
glass would settle down onto the clips, which eventually started a crack (or two)
where the glass was resting on the clip. The fix was to remove the clips...

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't checked to see if there is a TSB but I would hope that when asked the dealership would look into it. I'm not happy at all with Walser (sorry, frustration coming out). The windshield gets fixed this Friday so I'll ask if any of the issues Toby lists. I'll repost when I get the car back.
Thanks again.
