Yes, I’ve posted about this before, but the problem isn’t solved yet despite the car having been worked on by me for a month, my local independent shop x 1 1/2 weeks and now my BMW dealer x a week.
I bought this 2014 328d in Feb of this year. At the time it had a bad flow plug controller and a leaking valve cover gasket. It did not have ANY codes other than for the glue plug controller.
I replaced both the VCG and the flow plug controller in addition to the flow plugs themselves.
Upon completion of the job I began getting codes as follows:
2A6800 cyl 1 correction quantity outside permitted range
2A6A00 cyl 3 correction quantity etc
2A6C00 cyl 2 correction etc
2A6D00 cyl 4 correction etc
I had attempted to clean the injector tips on 2 injectors and ultimately decided that I had screwed them up. I replaced them both. Reassembled everything making sure to code the injectors into the correct position in the DDE. This did not make the problem go away.
I should add that I also changed the fuel filter.
My independent shop replaced the other 2 injectors, the MAF sensor and air filter. They went as deep into the DDE as far as their software would let them, and ultimately said they couldn’t figure it out, take to dealer.
It’s been at the dealer for 1 week so far. They checked for leaks at the injectors. They have completed the injector test protocols and they all passed. They are also struggling with this car. Anybody got ideas?

I should add that the car runs GREAT extremely smooth, good power everybody agrees that it runs too well to be a compression problem.
Also, the codes say they are intermittent.
