Front axle seal 2010 335i Xdrive

Does anyone know which seal is the right one for my 2010 335i Xdrive. FCP Euro and Real OEM have 2 versions that I can see one with some kind of red or green plastic insert (31508860349) and one without (31508743675) The seal that is in there now does not have it but I know the axle has been out before so that does not mean the correct part was put back in. The assembly the includes the insert seems to be listed as the part ending in 349 while just the seal that needs the insert end in 601. At least on RealOEM. Any insight is much appreciated.

If you look at the notes, it says either can be used. But the part number ending in 675 is a newer design and supercedes the other part number. I'd go with the 675

Both parts are for your specific application.

Part number 31 50 8 743 675 is the OLD part number and has been superseded with a new part number

Part number 31 50 8 860 349 is the NEW part number.

Obtain 31 50 8 860 349 if available.
