Fully charge battery/won't start/no lights on the cluster (symbols) and the fob won't come off easily from the ignition port, at times when I get some lights on the cluster you hear a clicking noise coming from fuse box (relay #15) and the tail door opens and if you close it ill opens again, oh and no clicking on the starter when you finally get some kind of power on the cluster. Last month I was having problems starting the X5 but it was a bad starter and by the way the clicking on the fuse box relay #15 was going on at the time .I hope this is enough information for someone to give me some ideas.

Do you have keyless start or like my 2011 need to insert key in the dash?

I insert my key and I only have one , by the way thanks for responding.

You need a scanner that's useful for BMW.

You can also code options like roll up windows from thw key fob.

Get yourself a replacement key from a dealer.
