BMW E92 2.0i N43 High Pressure Fuel Pump

Hi everyone,

My E92 is having difficulty starting. When cold its starts ok.
Also sometimes it is stalling and loses power at higher revs.
At first I thought the battery was dying but the scanner gave
an error for the high pressure fuel pump and the battery is
testing fine.

My question is, what is better? Buying an original one but
used and in a good working condition, or buy a new one made
by Bosch?

Since they are known issues with that engine, I'd replace with bosch, but, from.OE supplier and not from.BMW directly. Paying for rhe name.

I was thinking the same but was not sure.
I've read somewhere that only the BMW HPFPs manufactured at specific years had that issue.
Do you know who is the supplier of BMW for these pumps?
