Hi Everyone, Hope someone can help.
I have a 2022 Mini Cooper S F54, Few weeks back, someone ran into the back end, only slight damage to the bumper cover, had the car repaired, they had to remove the rear bumper, pleased with the repair.
Few days later, i got an error code " Reverse camera failure" this comes on the dash for around 10 seconds then disappears. All the time the camera is working when selecting R, I have even stopped the car when the warning appears and selected R, all works ok.
I had a chat with the body shop and he assures me all was ok, no broken wires, no damage and everything went back ok.
I connected the car to BimmerLink, error code comes up, I can clear it, a day or so later it returns.
The error comes up in the " All round vision camera" 01A062 DEM_INT_AECU ASYNCHRON_MODE I click on that and this comes up. 800B96 Rear view camera calibration or adjustment error
Any help or advice is much appreciated
Hi, Just an update, this has now been resolved, Main Dealer replaced the camera under warranty.
a few folks suggested getting an ADAS calibration done, which would have been my next step
