Help with using the "onboard computer"

So I am nearly 80 years old and have been driving BMWs for 38 years.
I got along great with a hard copy manual and my 1986 535i.
I got along pretty well with my 2013 535i and a hard copy manual.
I had a little trouble with understanding how to use the what I think was called the "onboard computer" on my 2016 535i even with a hard copy manual.
I am having a lot of trouble with my new-to-me 2019 540i trying to do simple things like change the time on the clock, deleting the prior owner's settings, setting up
my phone, etc. etc. etc. even though I printed out a hard copy manual.

Would anyone be willing to help me out or possibly steer me to someone who might?

Can't help with the phone; I dont have a smartphone.

The date and time has me stumped as well. I can change the format, but not the time and date - those are greyed out, and clicking the iDrive knob doesnt give access.

To delete another's profile, go to Home > car > driver profiles > select the profile, and delete.

Olld Tom...are you near a local BMW dealership? If you are, I would wander in and ask for help. Many dealership's have personal called "geniuses" which help new BMW owners set up their vehicles. I'm sure they could find someone to help you out...especially if you walked in with a "box of fresh donuts".

Do consider that if you show up at a busy drop off/pickup period...they may not have the time if you show up in at the service area. But if the sales staff or parts people aren't busy...or if they have a BMW genius available...you may find the help you need.
