MS41 alternative for OEM MAF (turbo)

Hello I own e39 528i 96' it's MAF is OEM only while replacing .. which is too expensive and also will not work with turbo AND ALSO not as durable as let's say MAP sensor.

What can I do to get rid of expensive MAF and also have a readings from the new air sensor working with 1bar turbo

    My VIN number is BP01744

Could someone help me with that question?
I'm curious about the possible solutions

It's not a fair comparison to do MAF vs. MAP as they do very different jobs.

A common replacement for M52 MAF when using a turbo is the Nissan 350z Hitachi slot MAF in an appropriate housing made for it. Of course you would have to retune to enter in the new MAF sensor calibration data +- resistors.

Oh thanks for that but are the connections the same ? I mean 4 pin as we are talking about m52b28s1 NOT m52b28s2 (m52b28tu)

I know those two sensor do the different job but - the price of MAF and its durability is making me think about going MAP conversion
