    Folding Mirrors need Coding?

I bought a pair of rep M5 mirrors. I also have the correct passenger door module and the driver master switch with fold button. After I install all of these, do I need to code anything or is it totally plug and play? TIA

I was always curious about this one... are the 2001 E38 modules viable alternatives?

Yes, but I mean both the left module and right passenger module (the one that sits behind the door panel).

The E38 7 series version (folding ofcourse) is a dime a dozen!

No coding necessary. Those are all you need (assuming the passenger side door module carries the correct part number).

I purchased this one last year to achieve this effect, and I believe it came off of an e38.

Edit: lol looks like yours is identical. You should be good to go.
