    Wtb e36 m3 rtab tool

As the title states I'm looking to buy an e36 RTAB removal/ installation tool. Just seeing if someone has one they'd be willing to part with before buying new. Thanks,

    Reilly

Not looking to sell but FWIW we bought this, http://www.mistools.net/shop/article...1%26aid%3D1%26

We've only used it once but it worked just fine.

Well thanks for the input anyway. $100 seems to be the going rate for these tools. The MIS one does look like a pretty quality tool though.

I've done it without the tool, isn't so bad as long as you have an extra hand. There are a couple guides out there on it.

I don't ever having any extra hands unfortunately and I have done it without the tool before as well and it was a total pita. I have multiple e36's and will always have at least one in my life so I think buying a proper tool is my best bet at this point. Thank you for your input though.

Fair enough, I fully understand the right tool for the right job

edit: If you locate one, I would be interested in seeing it. I make lots of specialty tools, and just looking at it online, seems pretty simple to make

I have that tool and it is for sale. I bought it thinking it was the MIS tool, but I think it it was a knockoff. thats not why I'm selling it though, I ended up buying the whole rear bushing removal/install kit. I bought it for my E46, I assume they are the same tool

Anyway, $60 bucks including shipping, or $50 if you pick it up

PM me if you are still looking

Sorry I've been super busy. I'll probably take it when I have time to figure out the details after the new year.

I borrowed an MIS tool from a member on here when I did mine and it seemed like a quality piece. Worked great.

You have the MIS tool. I bought it directly from their website and it looks identical.

Nothing engraved into mine. I thought the same when I looked at the site, but alas.

Ours did not have any engravings either and I bought it direct. They must have recently started doing that maybe to combat knock-offs.
