On my way home from a great date and seeing Iron Man I was cruisin to Justice. as always... although I probably looked obnoxious as my volume does not turn down unless i fiddle with the dial for 10 minuets. so it was pretty loud. This GTi starts hugging my bumper my first thought was OMFGVWFTMFL. He kept annoying me, flashing and swerving.

he pulls next to me and starts pulling, I was in 5th gear. going 40, dropped to 4th caught up (heindsight wish i would have gone to third.) We end up at a red light. I rev my engine and take off at about 3krpms.. first gear.... USELESS, the street was moist from rain earlier and all i was doing was spinning. I grabbed second and I was OFF. a car length in no time. i put on my hazards. waved, and took my turn to my street.

I am overall pretty happy with the outcome... of course. I mean, even if i won by an Inch or a mile, winning is winning.

But, in all honesty, when my tires started spinning all I could think about was the lives that were being put in danger, including MR. Asshole next to me. Although it's fun, I think I want a car like this to stay on the track.... most of the time.

You're not getting flamed for street racing; you're getting flamed for bad storytelling and sounding like you don't know what you're doing, thereby sounding dangerous.
