Steering vibration, shaking car, and strange sound.

Ok, I need help on this one. Last week, the steering of my e32 suddenly came out shaking out of nowhere. Then, after about 5 minutes, that was gone. During the week I noticed that the problem was coming back, always disapearing a few minutes later. I suspected the brake rotors or bushings to be responsible for the shaking but today, I realised a strange sound was coming from the wheels while I traveled at low speed. I also noticed something looking like grease on the wheels. Can somebody help me out with this, that car is my love and it I don't like seeing it suffering like that.

Maybe a brake line is leaking. Having you taken a good look at the brakes yet?

I had the same problem. I just had an alignment and new control arm bushings installed and the car rides on rails!

A bad alignment wouldn't cause any "grease" to be on the wheels though. The fact that it is intermittent suggests to me its not an alignment issue.

I wasn't trying to be an ass or anything towards you, sorry if I came off that way. I was just trying to be helpful.
