You have to call him. You'll never get a PM response from him.

I need to borrow an AFR sensor or C02 sensor or wide band to tune my 72 tii.. The mixture adjustments are killing me in gas $$ and I have no way of knowing if the adjustment on my new head are even close to right :-/

    Thanks in advanced!

Does anyone have an engine hoist? I need to borrow one for a couple of hours tomorrow (sunday). I have a new engine in the back of my car and need to put it in the garage.

Please PM Asap if you have one, I'll buy you a beer or throw you a few bucks.

The joys of E30 daily driving never cease....

I need to borrow a coolant system pressure tester if anyone has one.

I just ordered the parts I will need to do it. The detent tools are really hard to find considering they aren't really for sale to the public. My understanding is that actually doing the fix itself isn't that hard though.

yeah, I don't think I could tackle that on my own without someone holding my hand through the job. I have a UUC SSK that I haven't been able to put in my car and it's been like over 6 months since I bought it

The 5th gear fix is fun. The detent tools arent really necessary. Whatd be nice is a tool to pull the old bushing out. Thatd be nice. driving them back in is the easy part.

It's not a "tool," per se...but figured I'd put it here anyway: Does anyone in the area have a lift or anything I can rent? :P I need to get under my car for a good bit of TLC (ATF drain/fill & filter, differential fluid, fuel filter, coolant flush, etc.). I'm not 100% comfortable with jack stands, especially since I don't have a garage to make sure some asshat doesn't come steamrolling through the parking lot while I'm under the car. I guess I'd be more comfortable with someone else around if I was to do the jack stand business.

I've got all the tools n' know-how, just need to the get car up in the air for a couple hours. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

p.s. Bummed I missed out on the meet last week. Will definitely make the next one.

p.p.s. Anywhere within an hour or so of Atlanta proper is fine by me. I actually drove all the way to Myrtle Beach to use a friend's lift this past weekend, but things didn't work out so well. I guess earning a living trumps friends bumming off ya No worries, though, got a good bit of top-side stuff done, and the drive was fun as hell

I'm with Psycho... I could use a lift to change my transmission/diff fluid as well as my tranny/engine mounts. And I also have a UUC SSK ready to go in that I've had for like 6 months sitting there

Haha...maybe we can grease the palms of a tech over at a Jiffy Lube or something to use an empty bay

But from some experience at being under the ramps at one of my friends' jobs, there's usually some scary stuff down there on the walls

That's cool, I start a new job Monday and have a ride all week so, so next weekend would be fine. I guess just send me a PM when you get back if that's alright.
