Awesome overhaul!
Nice pink contour in the last pic! :P
I love the use of the stock jack in the first pic. That thing is just waiting for a Darwin Award winner... Are you homeless?
No matter where you go, there you are...
very nice, do you know what you're doing or are you following DIYs? My issue is anything I do is the "first" time for me.
Do you know the factory jack is called the "widowmaker" for a reason?

FFL, if you can make it down to the bay, you can work at my place. I have a press and jackstands :-D

You could have pulled it into the garage as long as I had room to enter the attic
The side of my hill does look a little in the "open".

LOLZ the fire is epic
while you've got the subframe out, have you considered welding in the turner sway bar reinforcements? i had the shop take care of that for my subframe swap out. while i have stock sway bars and no real plan to swap them out anytime soon, i still think it would suck to have to go through the process again if it did tear.
here's the kit turner sells: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html..._ID=TSU3675001

You should use the stock rear sway if you're going with 650 out back.
I am running the same rates, but I'm also running a car that weighes ~3000-3100lbs and 265front and 29rear tires. I'm also running an Eibach rear bar, but with stock tire sizes I would run a stock rear sway. When my car was for autox it was 2700lbs, I ran 650F and 850R with no rear sway
Looks good so far Dave. You do have the resources out here, but are not interested in using them. I have a 120V Lincoln MIG welder sitting in my garage right now along with plenty of scrap sheet metal. All you need to do is come over here or I will pick you up.
2700#s? Wow, you all must have stripped almost eveything out. I weighed mine the other day and it was 3300#s without me in it...lol
No matter where you go, there you are...
On the radowski bracket there is a spacer that fits inbetween the diff bushing and the bracket. id leave a 'cunt hair or so' of space so that you can slide that spacer in with ease otherwise it will be so tight and hard to get it aligned for the bolt to slide through.
WTB: E36 ZKW Headlights, ACS Rear Diffuser,E36 M mudflaps front + rear
raoke, on the diff bracket:
If you put a washer in between the bracket and the spacer while it was being welded do you think that would be enough room? Once its welded and you take the washer out do you think you will still be able to tighten all the way up correctly?
Thanks!!
The fact you're doing this in totally random spots is +5 in my book. Now I feel spoiled working in my sloped driveway!!
They aren't random spots. They are where he lives. The parking lot outside his dorms on base, his old house back in CT, and my brother-in-laws driveway where Dave lives.
