209,000 miles on her its my daily driver. Needs some work but I really love this car. it has a salvage title here in NC, I never ran a carfax report on her because I did not want to sour the milk if you know what I mean. I have had it for about 6 months or so, but now even if I knew the whole story it wouldnot matter. has not required any work other than oil changes and other service work so far though the brake light is now on and I suspect the noise coming from the back is the wheel bearings in the rear axel.

Hmm, Thats the number on my rego papers. The car is a Baur that was privately imported to Australia years before I got it. From Germany maybe, just guessing though. Will that help?

A righthand drive E21 323i automatic in Saphirblau (blue)? If that is correct, it wears Baur-number A74294-14, which can be found in the engine room next to the VIN. And it wasn't privately imported from Germany, but was ordered new from Australia.
