My daughter has a '84 318i that I was waiting for the snow to clear before I let her drive it.

Un fortunatly it just failed it's out of province and I don't think it's worth restoring so ...........

Any body need some parts?

I only have one badly lit picture of it now , and as you know we got snow, so I can take some pictures of it looking all nice and white or perhaps wait till the weekend and then snap some and put them up here.

Looking for a replacement so if you hear of anything let me knwo please.

well well my e30(325 coupe) does happen to be for sale, also my e28 (533i) will be up for sale shortley also.... im just waiting for a tranny to come in from pheonix. shoot me a pm if your intrested.

Both very nice cars, but since this is to be my 17 year old daughters 1st car that is all hers, and probably her 1st standard I think they are to nice for her to bend like she did to the '02 Kia we currently share.

But who knows if she feels her car isn't a "beater" even a Bimmer beater (is there such athing?) maybe whe will respect it better and drive more carefully.

either way if you buy something cheap you will probably get something that needs alot of work... you will still probably have problems with inspection for insurance. why not spen a little more for a decent condition e30 that has a fully refreshed suspention..... like mine. hint hint...

I completely agree. And parts are not the cheapest nor the easiest to find for these cars.

My girl is now officialy "That teenager" now and knows everything so she is going to learn a life lesson when it comes to cars.

I am in the process of gutting my E30 for competition in WCMA IT1 class races. Therefore I have many parts cluttered about around the house. I will make a list of items for sale when I get things organized. I can think of a few things off the top of my head that I have removed.

-center console
-rear seat
-hood insulation
-grab handles
-sun visors
-trunk mat
-battery cover
-spare tire mounting hardware
-rear seat side trim panels

More items will be removed as the project progresses and I will get a complete list of parts and pics together ASAP.

in the process of picking up another e30 yay! 89i hit from the rear so it totalled..... has some goodies i will be putting on the eta.. plastic bumper(only front) for now.. m20 b25(more powa). mtech wheel. and hopefull transfer the wiring for auto windows! yeah!

anyone have an engine crane i can use down the road?

in your previous posts you said it did not pass out of province inspection........ now in you kijiji add you said that th PO assured you thast it would pass inspection no problems and that your daughter just lost intrest in it? whats the deal?

its the b34 out of a 533i..... has the light weight m5/m6 flywheel and the 278 camshaft. 170,000kms runs great... i dunno if i want to go threw the trouble of swaping or just sell it all along with my e30 and get a vert. or a 1990-1991 318is or 325is..

I wouldn't swap it in if that's the 182BHP engine. Not a big enough gain in HP over an M20B25 and I bet it weighs a ton. I would sell it all and buy a 325is and a chip but my opinion may be biased.

533s are a little more rev happy than 535s; less mass and lighter flywheel.The 533i was the fastest sedan sold in America in 1984, so the motor should be plenty of fun in a 325e chassis! but i dunno the plan is to fix the 5er and sell it..... so i can go on to bigger and better things!

hmm... my project thoughts have always pushed me towards a 1992 e30 vert with the plastic bumpers and a s52 swap slammed on coils over winter.. if i can get both bimmers sold i will hve one wicked topless jeep yj also,:-O
