The speaker in the passenger door goes on and off, randomly, which leads me to believe that there is a loose connection.
Is there a way to fix this without removing the door panel? (i.e. something a mechanically challenged person could do)
Any idea how much this would cost to repair? Can anyone recommend a shop in the Tri-Valley?
Thanks!
Edited: OK, plan B - can anyone help me fix this?

I'm sure there is someone on here that is in your area that can help you out. Not worth taking to a shop IMO. More than likely the door panels will have to come off. Just be careful not to break the plastic rivets/fasteners.
Looking for: 11-button OBC, Driver and passenger side door strikers
the door panel has to come off,
i doubt its the connection, proly have to buy a new tweeter.
Well, the reason I think it's the connection is because sometimes if you slam the door hard or if you go over some small bump in the road, the speakers come on like normal. If I need a new tweeter, that's fine, too... I just need to hear both speakers at the same time - it's driving me crazy!

yea i used to have that problem on my e39 and it ended up being a lose connection. i was able to fix it myself though so i cant help you with the cost to repair it.
if the speaker itself is actually loose it could be hitting the metal n the door and grounding out where in the bay area are you located?
