places. However, I also called yakima and found out that coupe Y-clips are in fact different than the sedan ones. Coupes require Y33 clips while the sedans (the ones I have) are Y32. I'm trying to see if I can get some Y33 clips too. We will see

Update: I have the new SST towers and locking pieces so this set is officially for sale (they are new in box). I'm starting at 125 + shipping. This includes the 8 SST towers, 7 locking clips, 4 Y33 clips, Yakima fairing, and 2 bars (I don't know the width other than that they fit an E36s). Tell your friends, I want this thing gone.

Can you guys share with me, if I have a full set up Yak system for my e30 with Q towers, how to get it to fit on my e36? No one seems to say it'll work from Yak. ( as in the feet for the e36 are not available to mount to my car)

I honestly have no clue, I only know how the SST towers are. For the SST towers, they're just generic towers with custom Y-clips. Maybe look into a different locking mechanism on ebay for an E36??

Don't want to hijack OP's thread, but I believe I have a set of e36 Y clips in the basement if someone wants them. Might have the SST towers too, let me check when I get home.
I had all this on our e36 coupe a few years ago, and I'm a pack rat.
No current BMWs.

I have a coupe so no roof setups from Yakima will fit. And I was given a thule rack setup for my e30 from the manager so stealing woulda been stupid as I was given a superior brand product fo' free.
E36 sedans still have fitment availability from Yakima with Q towers and two pairs of Q18 clips. SST towers and Y clips have been discontinued for ages. I was in the womb when sst towers were in use.
Thule quality and customer support is so much better and Yakima is now all assembled in Mexico so they aren't even the domestic brand. Thule USA is the way to go.
