I have just purchased a Salvage 2000 Z3 that needs a radio code.
I did the M button routine, when I called my dealer he said it would not work and that I had to bring the car in with my registration and they would take the roadio out and get the code for a mere $60.00.
Has anyone tried tried http://www.radiocode.ivgsoft.com/ to obtain their code?
Guys seriously this is ridiculous. Call around to various dealers - tell them you just had a battery replaced at their dealership and the service people forgot to reset the radio code. Give them the radio serial number and whatever else they ask for over the phone and they will give you a code free. If they don't, call another dealer. No reason to pay for it.

Do you have the code for that?
Step 1: Read this thread
Step 2: Call your local dealer
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
But seriously folks, remove your CD43, get the serial number and call your BMW dealership. They'll give you the code. Stop asking on this thread.
