CF SCs don't have much low end torque.

But I think a Centi would have the upper hand on a 65 mph highway run. Either both setups are super fun.

How is that? On a 65mph highway run a TS would be making full boost once the pedal is depressed, the CF would probably be making half that.

I have seen dyno sheets where ts's are making 280wtq where centi's are making well over 300wtq in that upper rpm range. The Ts has the upper hand in the lower rpm range. Where the vortech type/centi blowers are making that same tq sometimes more in the higher rpm range. I'm talking about 4k-7k rpms the centi's will make more tq in that part of the power band.

Your timeslip shows a -.009 reaction time. I'm not familiar with Cecil's new scoring as it used to be a .500 was a perfect light.

Does this mean you red lighted?

Hey Doug!!

I have other time slips that say...

RT..... .207
RT..... -.040

So I would assume that they are using .000 as a perfect RT.

The centris also have ability to make more WHP up top
because of many upgrade options.

So Jason, it looks like I'll have to take you up on the offer to drive to teach you how to launch.

The dude in the 18 second pickup won! On second thought, I'll just ride with him.

Just kiddin. I'll see you next Saturday at the dyno and we'll schedule taking my car to VAC for some custom tuning.

Jason doesn't need lessons on how to launch or how to react to the lights. He's got that down pat. R-comps or drag slicks for improving the 0-60' times. Nice runs, buddy! You've got yourself a beast now, for sure. No tickets/street racing, though, it was fast enough before the SC. Good luck at the Pro.

That is a great time! 114 MPH trap speed is indicative of a high 11 second vehicle! Very nice, and great 60' time for a street tire. You have much to be happy about! I recently ran at Englishtown in N.J., 12.63@ 116 MPH with a 2.1 short time! I'm hoping to go out again this weekend with better tires, I will post the results as soon as possible. Great job once again!

I am in the process of installing my Stage II upgrades so hopefully I can run my car through the 1/4 soon enough.

How do you figure?
Your missing a whole part of that equation which is RPM's. Depending on what gear you are in, the RPM's would be different and on a CF s/c, boost is RPM driven.

I was debating next time using the 285 V710 R comps on the back.

I will at least another 100rwhp to take out the "Doctor" at the Pro.

IIRC, stock vs stock, the m coupe only weighs 100 lbs less at 3075 vs 3175 lbs. I am assuming that hardware for sc packages weigh about the same.

While a difference, it's not TOO much. Slightly lower weight may be helped alot by the ability to run slightly wider rubber in the back.

Congratulations on your times!

Your setup is the exact same direction I was hoping to take my car. Does AA have tuning for the C38 and Schrick setup on the shelf or was it custom tuned?

Also, I have wondered about underdrive pulleys and a SC setup. How did you find the proper length belt? I'm assuming there's a wide variety of lengths available to accommodate various setups?
