AKA Rally 2009 - Savannah to Monterey

Ok guys, I'm posting to try and get some more e39 interest in this event Last year we had 4 e39 M5's on the Rally and it was (as usual) an absolute blast). This year AKA Rally is going from Savannah Georgia to Monterey California. The dates for the trip are July 31st - August 7th. I can't even begin to describe how awesome this event is every year, and it constantly gets better. Basically, I've made a ton of lifelong friends who I regularly hang out with in a variety of cities across the US, who have shared some of the craziest and most incredible stories of my life. The AKA Rally has a variety of events we've enjoyed in the past such as a private day on a prepped course at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Private Go Kart rentals, VIP parties, Full Access to ALMS and F1 races, White Water Rafting, Track Days, and a host of other exclusive events.

I'm sure some of you have heard me come back raving about some of the insanity that takes place. A bunch of bf.c members have gone in the past and I know there are atleast 6 other bimmer owners with deposits in already.

Entry fee this year is $3,999 if you register before May 31st.

Yeah, previously it was
'04 - NYC to LA
'05 - Philly to Key West
'06 - Vegas to DC
'07 - Salt Lake City to Atlantic City
'08 - NYC to Vegas

A lot of the west coast guys wanted the East to West format so that's what they went with for this year.

There is usually two intercity trucks for transport back (on your dime, but a group buy price). May 31st is the deadline @ $3999, I think it's $4400 after that. (off the top of my head) That's for 1 car entry, 2 people, hotels, parties, exclusive events, dinners and other select meals.

So you cover gas, tickets, your expenses.

Last year I bombed back from Vegas in 34 hours, alone, for a family thing and then a track day.
