    FINALLY someone pulled the e30 motor out right,,, from the bottom with everything attached, That is the way they designed it to be pulled. Props

    Thanks man, yea I thought it would be best as well as easiest. But I think the M52 will go in with a cherry picker....

    its tough trying to get the m52 with tranny bolted up back into the engine bay with a cherry picker. make sure you pull the intake mani off first... makes it alot easier to tilt the motor

    Can you use the original m20 getrag 260 shifter linkages with the m52's gearbox, or does the m20's gearbox bolt up to the back of the m52? or is this a really stupid question?

    All the linkages I'm using are for an e36, but thats because I'm using an e36 zf tranny. I'm not sure if I could use the stock e30 shift carrier...
