    Wokke Chip Install Q

    I plan on getting Wokke’s chip very soon (I’ve seen nothing but positive reviews) so I’ve been researching installation instructions. But one thing I haven’t been able to find out is: What’s the best way to go before removing the DME/ECU? Disconnecting the battery? Or I thought someone once suggested that you can just remove a fuse (but which one)? Wuffer’s instructions found on e31faq only indicate to detach the big black connectors.

    just detach the ECU connectors...........no need for battery disconnect.....

    '94 850CSi, '88 911 SSE,
    Chip comes with nice install instructions -- no need to remove DME box or disconnect batteries. You will need a small Torx head, Wokke's paperwork will tell you which size.
