Couldn't find the file, sadly. A recent backup snafu wiped out lots of old stuff.
All is not lost, it looks like hard copies are still available on eBay. Just search for KBUS carsoft, you'll get a lot of hits. Something like this should do the trick nicely.

The carsoft 6.5+SP1+crack archive is still up there on the high seas
Only 2 seeders so availability might be spotty
I searched a Tpbproxy list and eventually found one that wasn't a scam mirror riddled with ad redirects, used utorrent to open the magnet link, it was done in about a minute
I haven't had much time to play with it but it installed on a Win11 x64 laptop and updated ok and shows v6.5.06 within the app. All I had in the house was an obsolete PA088U based USB to RS232 adapter. I installed a win11 certified driver from a different adapter with the same internals. In the driver options (in Device Manager) I changed it to use COM1 port. I bought the "BMW compatible adapter V6.5" from eBay, it shows a green power light when plugged into 20pin port and red on the 3 KLine pins, regardless of ignition position (!)
While there are no communication error popups in the carsoft program, I haven't had any success getting a response from any module in my 1993 RHD euro 540i, I will update this post if I do.
