One week ago purchased a 97 523i Touring. Euro delivery manual. Picked it up in San Diego and drove it to my garage in Tucson. What a blast to drive. Don’t know that I can post a pic since I just joined and this is my first post. Been driving a 2011 e93 M3 auto which is lots of fun but not especially practical for my needs. Sorry to see it go but loving my Touring.

Didn't know they made a 523it, cool car being non-USA spec. Any plans with the car other than driving it? I think after 5-10 posts you'll be able to post a picture. I also have a Euro delivered car (540it), but has been in the states since '04/'05, being a former diplomatic vehicle, and also have a e9x car, albeit an e92 335i

Thanks very much. Glad to be here. At the moment I want to get to know the car before making any moves toward mods although I have ordered a set of coco mats and a cargo liner. The original owners manual is in the car but is in German, so I’ll be in the market for an English version.
