New to forums. 1988 BMW 735I questions.

Ive lurked these forums a few times but Ive usually found what I wanted using the search feature.

Now however, I have a question.

I have a White 1988 BMW 735I. The rear plastic bumper strip is cracked and broken in one spot, and so is the front bumper strip.

Where can I find replacements for these? Does anybody know? Ive tried searching everywhere with no luck.

Also, my front valance, where the foglights sit is also cracked and broken. Does anyone have a good replacement for sale?

Anyway! I love the forums and love looking at your guys cars!

I hate to say this at the risk of being flamed with many opinions..... but.....

My local dealership does a fine job ordering parts and the age of my car doesnt seem to affect thier ability to get items i need within 5 to 6 days (especially trim & body pieces).

If your close to a dealer, might try there first.... that is if they are a good one (there, I covered myself).

bav auto as others have mentioned may be another alternative. My brother-in-law ordered a pallette full of parts for his 88 3 series no problem via phone and says they were very helpful.

I have an e32 735il. The pix in my sig are old but I've found quite a few replacement parts on eBay using the search "e32". Also my suspension (H&R springs and Bilstien Sport shocks) came from BAVARIAN AUTO. I just ordered an ignition cylinder, tumbler and new key from them. $62 shipped. $120 from the Stealership.
