Hello folks, I just read about the get together on e90post. I have been begging for a mountain drive for months now. Tmoney told me about this get together. I must be unlucky because March 30th is the date when my wife is running a half marathon! Ugh. I probably cannot make it, but will double check. If the run starts a little later in the morning though, i could possibly catch up with the group.
MEETING TIME HAS BEN MOVED TO 9:30am DUE TO SEVERAL LAZY DRIVERS (AND PEOPLE WITH CONFLICTING SCHEDULES)!! see the jpg below for updated times:
We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
...and I'll be sure to bump this up as it gets closer to the 30th, just so everyone gets a nice reminder
::bump::
Don't forget about the drive on the 30th of this month!
not sure if the lady is going to come as passenger, but I'll be in for this. i'll send an email for rsvp when I get home.
Count myself and the grocery-getter in.
Everyone feel free to spread the word, and bring whomever you wish, passengers/other bmw's, etc.!!
I'll PM everyone that posted an RSVP the week before just to remind everyone!
Please don't open it up to anyone
Otherwise I might not come...
If Karl is coming I will come to return his camera mount!
i should be able to make 9:30. Ill be there in the m3 or e30...
I haven't forgot to make the map yet guys. I have just been busy lately with final exams. I will make the map this weekend!
I wish my E30 was up for this. I might "bump" into you all in the VW though.
Think I'll be coming to this one in one of the 2002s. Hopefully people won't lose me up there...can always bring the 5 if that's the case...
I'd like to see some familiar faces but it looks like I don't know most of these people...
Watch out up there, they have REALLY stepped up traffic enforcement over the last month and supposedly more in the next coming weeks.
Don't worry, we won't lose anyone.
New faces? All the more reason to come out!
There was a reason that I used the word 'drive' and not 'run'... I plan to emphasize that everyone be safe and courteous, while enjoying the roads and other Bimmers
Ohhhh, count me in. Fun, another mountain run.
I remembered that kid who had the AUTO version of my M3/4 because that was the only car I have seen in ATL in a while that resembles my Boston Green/ Modena combo. I was glad he was ok, the car not so fortunate. Mountain runs are fun, but with the right group of people who takes responsibilities, the bimmer group in ATL seems to becoming a younger and younger crowd with many fast and furious kids nowadays. no offense to anybody on here.
Exactly, if anyone gets out of control I will more than likely just turn around and go home... Not worth my time. I am there to enjoy the scenery and practice with my new camera
