VAC motorsport has aftermarket seat rails

Just noticed they have aftermarket seat rails if anyone is looking for them. It looks like they are a new item.

    Just a heads up.

not a cheap thing, approximately $190 PER SEAT ... that price is only for one seat bracket

For mounting race seats. I helped Tony prototype / fit these. Good stuff. Should get my final set early next week. I'll post some pics. The only other rails I know of for the z3 are from TC Kline at $140. I like these better, very flexible and work for a variety of seats and side brackets.

Is there such a thing as overkill when it comes to attaching your seat in a race car?

I have these brackets in my car. They work real good.

I put a roll bar in and no longer can use the stock belts. I have to use the 6 point harness. The bar mounts right where the stock belts are plus with one piece seats it wouldn't do much to have the stock belts.

wouldn't a stamped steel piece suffice, instead of machined aluminum? it's a good job nonetheless. and it looks like the only solution for Sparcos.

JediZ - sorry, no provisions for the stock belts.

H Man - you must be the "other coupe guy" Tony is always talking about!

mvf4s - I guess, but VAC manufactures this stuff in their shop so I'll let him figure out what works best.
