GT2 is looking pretty exciting this year. Hopefully Acura will bring something to LMP2 this year to give Porsche and Audi something to worry about.

Just making sure that you realized that the car likely won't hit the track until 2009.

BMW and PTG parted ways a long time ago.

I for one like it, it looks like a purposeful car, and is sure to perform well in its chosen venue.

Now if they could just make the street car look half as nice, rather then a steaming pile of shit, I'd be real impressed.

I think it's very much in the same vein as the previous E46 ALMS car. Looks gorgeous to me.

I am curious as to whether it will be a unibody chassis or tube frame? Either way... it looks incredible

Unibody. I don't think the ACO/ALMS regulations allow tube frame in GT2.

so where can i trade my soul for one of these? As soon as people starting snapping spy picks my first thought was "this will be a bad ass race car." e30 and e36 factory race cars were soooo sweet, the e46 was cool but as far as looks it didnt do it for me. This makes me drool. And i know its a race car and looks shouldnt matter, but if this were true they would just slap some wb fenders on and be done with it. Thank you bmw, now start making ///m cars in lower production numbers plz.

Balls hot. Thanks God BMW is finally getting factory support for ALMS. F1 does absolutely nothing for me, so this is where it's at. I feel sorry for Porsche...
